As a dancer and doula, I approach intimacy work with roots in somatic community care work. The tools offered by intimacy praxis allows artists to create their most bold work. Creativity flourishes on sets and in rehearsal rooms where there is space for vulnerable, daring discovery AND consent.

My work as an intimacy coordinator has been featured in projects screened at LA Shorts Intl Film Festival, Rhode Island International Film Festival, Dances with Films, LA Latino Intl Film Festival, New Orleans Film Festival, New York Latino Film Festival, Nvision Latino Film Festival, and AFI’s DWWW+ program.

I was a 2024 WIF Fellow and the inaugural intimacy coordinator in the program.

DC Metro Theater Arts says,

“While the subject matter revolves around issues of gender and sexuality, the scenes of simulated sex are handled with humor and discretion, without the need for nudity (we still get it).”
