THEATRE

Veronica’s theatre credits as both a creative and performer include New York Theatre Workshop, Arena Stage, Pasadena Playhouse, Center Theatre Group, The Metropolitan Opera, The Muny, Chicago Lyric Opera, Washington National Opera, Shakespeare Theatre Company, IAMA Theatre Company, Northern Stage, and more.

She has associated and assisted directors and choreographers including Tony winner Rachel Chavkin, Tony winner Sam Pinkleton, Tony nominee Ani Taj, Steph Paul, and Maggie Burrows.

FILM

Veronica’s practice of creating rigorous, daring and sustainable work has led to intimacy coordinating for university film programs and award-winning short films. Her work has been featured in projects screened at LA Shorts Intl Film Festival, Rhode Island International Film Festival, Dances with Films, LA Latino Intl Film Festival, New Orleans Film Festival, New York Latino Film Festival, Nvision Latino Film Festival, and AFI’s DWWW+ program. She was a 2024 Women in Film (WIF) Intimacy Coordinator Fellow.

TEACHING

Veronica has intimacy choreographed, guest lectured, and hosted choreography workshops at universities (Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Williams College, Dartmouth College, UCLA Law, USC School of Cinematic Arts, New York Film Academy, Georgetown University, Loyola Marymount University), non-profits (United in Harmony, Pasadena Playhouse, Education for the Children Foundation), and at Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and New Orleans public schools.

EDUCATION

Veronica Sofia Burt holds a BA in Theater and English from Dartmouth College. She is currently pursuing her MFA in Movement Directing and Teaching from Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
